Missed Blessings and Zero Situational Awareness - Praying just for one's self is selfish!

[My Title: "Missed Blessing"; ChatGPT analyzed it as: "Zero Situational Awareness"]

Yes, this can be used for "Don't miss out on all that God has for you"... but there is a slightly deeper, added meaning, that the Holy Ghost told me today:

"Some people are happy with what they WANT, and they miss out on God's BEST."

Yes, some people get salvation, and a couple benefits from God; but they never press on and get the best God has for them.

BUT there are others: Those who never think beyond their own desires and hopes and dreams.

So, there's an "inactive faith area" where the LIFESTYLE AFTER ANSWERS TO PRAYER becomes: "this is good enough", "I got what I wanted", "the life God has given me is amazing",... and no decision to "keep climbing with Jesus" is made.

Or worse even: "God's been good to me, and imma be happy with the old memories and victories of the past"...

NO!

May we all check with the Holy Ghost, and see if there is more that God wants to do to/for us, and accomplished through us.

(We may have our new Porsche 911 in the driveway; but God might be trying to get us an SUV as well, to help carry groceries to a family in need, from time to time.)

Let GOD determine when "it is enough"!

Then the faith journey REALLY begins!

"Blessed AND a Blessing!"

As Rev. Nancy Dufresne said, "If we can ask it, or think it– we are already below what [God] wants to do."

Soar!
