theMOUNT™ | CASTING "THE WHOLE" OF YOUR CARE UPON HIM! | Rev. Martha Robinson

| MARTHA ROBINSON |

What God gave me when I was stressing about a family member deciding to do something against my better judgement:

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (-I Peter 5:7.)

Let Him have all your worry and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you!”  (TLB)

Let Him have ALL your concerns: Be Happy!  Don’t Worry!  Be Happy!  Don’t Worry!

CASTING THE WHOLE OF YOUR CARE [all your anxieties, ALL your worries, ALL your concerns, ONCE AND FOR ALL] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.”  (AMP)

CAST thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”  (-Psalm 55:22.)

“GIVE your burdens to the LORD.  He will carry them. HE will not permit the godly to slip or fall.”  (TLB)

CAST your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).”  (AMP)

“Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.  For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.  For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.  For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.  And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.  Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:  Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.  For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.  There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.  For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.  Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”  (-Hebrews 4:1-11)

This is after the Children of Israel refused to go into the Promised Land and they all died out in the wilderness, except Joshua and Caleb!

Hebrews 3:19 says, “So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief”!

“COME UNTO ME, ALL ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”  (-Matthew 11:28-30.)

“COME TO ME and I will give you rest- ALL of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke.  Wear my yoke- for it fits perfectly- and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens!” (TLB)

“COME TO ME, ALL you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Take MY yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.  For MY YOKE is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne[!]” (AMP)
